During the winter season Etna looks irresistibly beautiful thanks to the contrasting colors of the snow and the black lava stones.

We invite you to spend a morning with our guides for a walk thru lava flows and singular volcanic structures with the smoking summit of the volcano on the background. Our excursion will follow Monte Nero degli Zappini trail, the first trail created in Sicily (1991). We will start our hike at an altitude of 1.750 m in Piano Vetore and reach a max altitude of 1.850 m, walking through old and recent lava flows, lava tunnels and beautiful forest formations.
